DIY 12 volt car amplifier circuit

This is the DIY 12-volt car amplifier circuit diagram using the TDA2004 IC. It’s a stereo audio circuit with a bridge mode IC. Here, the IC is used in bridge mode. We can use a DC 12 volts or a battery. Normally, this circuit is used in a car amplifier. This IC in stereo mode is 10+10 watts. and bridge mode 25 watts.

The TDA2004 is an integrated circuit (IC) primarily designed as a Class B dual audio power amplifier in an 11-pin Multiwatt package, most commonly used in car radio applications.

Key Features and Specifications

  • Type: Class B Dual Audio Power Amplifier.

  • Application: Specifically designed for car radios and power booster amplifiers.

  • Power Output: Typically 10W + 10W stereo output (or up to 12W per channel) into a 2\Omega load at 14.4V supply, or 6.5W per channel into a 4\Omega load. It can drive very low impedance loads, down to 1.6\Omega.
