How to Make Transformer at Home:
for making an amplifier we mast need a qualified transformer. we need a transformer according to our amplifier. if we want to make the transformer by ourselves we have to know how to make the transformer. we have to know about the voltage and ampere for making a good quality amplifier. for this now we are going to know how to make a transformer at home.
How to Make Transformer at Home
First, we have to Calculate the transformer core area.
We can see here the bobbin is 5cmX2.5cm=12.5cm. according to the transformer-making rules, 42 is the calculation key. so 42/12.5cm=3.36. this 3.36 is the coil turn. that means for 1 volt need a 3.36 turn coil. we have different types of Ac voltage somewhere have 110 volts and somewhere are 220 volts. if we are in the 110-volt area.
110volt X 3.36 turn=369.6turn coil need. we can give some more for a better 380 turns.
Or if we are in the 220 voltage area.
220volt X 3.36 turn=739.2 turn coil needed. we can give some more for a better 750 turns.
Now for secondary binding:
It depends on our voltage needs. how much voltage do we need for our amplifier or another?
here we need 35-0-35. so 35 X 3.36=117.6 turns. for better 120 turns in double. because it’s the center tub transformer.
Now we need to know about the ampere of wire:
We need to know first about which number of wire have how many amperes. We can see the Gauge number and their ampere.

For primary coil :
How many watts do we need?
If we need 1000 watts transformer
so 1000/your Ac voltage=ampere
The 1000/220=4.5Amp wire we have to use for primary binding.
like as if you need 200 Watts
200/220=0.9Ampere wire for the primary.
Now for secondary, How many amperes do you need?
use the secondary wire according to the ampere you need.
